Cost

overview

This is a private practice, which means that I cannot bill my services directly to a health insurance company. You will receive an invoice from me in any case. Here I would like to give you an overview of the costs involved and how you can get them reimbursed, if necessary.

Billing is done according to the German Medical Fee Schedule (GOÄ). The costs depend on the services provided in each individual case and the complexity of the treatment. For complex medical-psychotherapeutic treatment, please expect costs of around 200 euros per treatment hour (50 minutes). If the treatment is primarily psychiatric (e.g. medication, which usually takes around 20-30 minutes), the costs are around 100 euros.

Please be aware that a diagnostic classification of complex illnesses that involve extensive questionnaires and interviews (e.g. ADHD) usually requires several appointments and incurs corresponding costs. Neurofeedback treatment is also very individual and varies in complexity. It is therefore best to speak to me directly about the treatment costs.

Privately insured and those entitled to benefits

Private health insurance companies usually reimburse you for the treatment costs, depending on your individual insurance conditions, even in full. Especially for psychotherapeutic treatments, I recommend that you find out in advance which services are actually covered by your insurance company (e.g. number of sessions, rate of increase). This means that even if you have to pay the bills in full, it may happen that the insurance company does not reimburse the costs in full and that a certain amount of co-payment is necessary.

Costs for supervision and coaching

Supervision and coaching are not medical treatments and are not billed according to the fee schedule for doctors. The costs incurred depend on the effort/complexity and are agreed with you individually. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me!

self-payers

In this case, the treatment costs are borne by you yourself. You can come to my treatment as a self-payer, even if you have private or statutory health insurance.

As a self-payer, you have the advantage that your health insurance company does not find out about your treatment. There is also no waiting period that occurs when applying for certain treatments with the health insurance company and we can start treatment straight away.

people with statutory health insurance

The treatment costs are not covered by statutory health insurance, not even partially. However, there are ways in which you can still receive treatment from me:

  1. As a self-payer: see there.

  2. About the so-called reimbursement of costs by your statutory health insurance: In principle, statutory health insurance also offers the possibility of having bills you have previously paid reimbursed. However, this is usually not the case in full due to discounts, restrictions and upper limits. This means that you must assume that you will also have to cover the costs yourself. Please check with your health insurance company before starting treatment to find out whether and to what extent they will be reimbursed in your case. Please feel free to contact me if you would like to know which billing figures would apply in your case.
